How can you describe greatness, or true ambition?...Through the eyes of KLI (Born Kem E. Raymond), its a simple look into the mirror. At the age of twenty-something,KLI can honestly say he has been developing his craft for some time now. Under the eye of his city he proudly represent, Boston, KLI has made a name for himself in almost every aspect of the entertainment industry. From choreography to recording, acting, and some modeling...some might say that he's just one step away from establishing himself amongst many who know about Beantown's secret weapon. At the age of 10 he began getting into dance (hip hop & breakdance),which had prepared him for the stage as a rapper by 12. Taking his experience from dance, he was able to animate himself through lyrics he was spitting. As managers and staff around had seen his potential, they also recognized his character. Soon after, would then go on to find interest in acting....along with friends from the Dorchester Youth Collaborative (birthplace of New Kids On The Block), Tyrone Burton (Parenthood, Squeeze). Through this outlet he would get gigs working with Aerosmith, Big Bros. Assoc., etc.). Fast forward, after finding himself tapping into so many different areas, at a young age, he finally decided to get back into music...releasing a single in 1997 called "Golden Grahmz" with an independent company out of Jamaica Plain,Mass. Breaking away from the grind, and learning many things of this industry made KLI quickly want to start his own venture. Although he has successfully put together a few of his own project, none are as anticipated as his most recent work "Good Help Iz Hard 2 Find". This project is what KLi would describe as an formal introduction to who he is and what he can do, which most already know...but he has perfected it.
