Koalia was formed in 2008 in Finland.
Our music is energetic pop rock; a combination of groove, big melodies and ironic, witty lyrics, almost unheard of in Finland. Coming from diverse musical backgrounds, we naturally produce something you can't quite put a label on. There are elements from rock and funk, some rapping, bit of ethnic riffs and rhythms, pop melodies on the top, where can you place that?
