Kevin Beckwith II aka K-RU$H has to be one of the most talented, positive, non-vulgar unsigned artist. He has the support of his family and friends as he ventures out into the music industry one step at a time. K-RU$H is inspired by artists like Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Young Jeezy, Michael Jackson, Chris Brown and many others. At the early age of 5, music was instilled in him whether it was from the choir on Sunday mornings or from parties on Friday nights. He started to write poetry for shows, plays, and church events as a teen. From here, K-RU$H put his words into music. Music then became his love. Ever since then he hasn't stopped grinding. K-RU$H and his cousin formed a group by the name of "Kalabow" while in high school. While apart of this group, they made the intro theme for the varsity basketball team at their school, and also did several shows around the way. In 2004, he graduated from high school. Upon graduating, K-RU$H then joined the United States Navy. By joining the Navy, it led him to meeting some great musicians/friends. They combined all of their talents and established a group known as C.O.C.A. (Cream of da Crop and the Affliates). In 2007 C.O.C.A. collaborated with a group called "Fly Bois" in Okinawa, Japan to open up for T-Pain, Young Joc, and Ciara. Currently K-RU$H is preparing for a show in Vinzenza, Italy on July 25th 2009. C.O.C.A. is on their way to the top. As K-RU$H, creator/producer/artist/scout, he is destined to be great and change the game in a positive way. 2009 will be his year.
