About Lady Rocka
Lady Rocka aka Rolanda Oliver was born in Houston Texas in 1985. She has been performing since the age of three as a dancer and pursued that talent for 12 years. Eventually, she took up the art of public speaking which introduced her to acting. Throughout her pursuit, she gained an undoubtable passion for writing, singing and recording R&B/hip-hop tracks which is when she exposed the voice of a legendary queen in her hometown, Plainfield, New Jersey aka Queen City.
While living in NJ, Lady Rocka started recording in her basement on a PC. She was then introduced to Gorilla Pimp Records where she began recording in the studio. Lady Rocka then branched off into Crack Music Records in 2005 and continued to perform in many New York City lounges, clubs, bars etc. Then she moved to Atlanta Georgia in 2006 and obtained a Digital Filmmaking degree from The Art Institute of Atlanta.
