One may ask, “Who is Laia, and who does she sound like? “Well, Laia has an eclectic sound that leads people to believe that Canton Jones and Lisa McClendon called T.I. and David Banner on a conference call and asked them to join a mass movement to save a dying generation by musically taking drastic measures. She wraps soul, gospel, hip-hop, and a natural swagger up in a tight package that will create some major noise once it’s unveiled to the world. This sound will completely overtake your eardrums and seep into the depths of your soul to create a musical and spiritual transformation. Laia’s influences vary and many of them shine in her debut project. She has a wide range of musical influences from Earth Wind and Fire to Da Truth. This album entails a plethora of styles and sounds, but most of all it gives audiences a chance to understand Laia’s love for Christ and her desire to serve Him with such a powerful gift.

Laia Jones, a native of Memphis, TN., is a singer-songwriter that discovered her God- given gift at an early age. Since the tender age of seven years old, Laia discovered an enriching passion in performing arts. She has acted in numerous plays and sung in countless talent shows to hone her skills as an artist. The one thing that she desires most in life is to be pleasing in God’s eyesight while thriving within her passion. One day the world will know the name, Laia Jones”.
