Music has been Lana’s great passion since her childhood. She wrote her first song at the age of 10 that received mention in a children’s television program. A college and conservatory years shaped her into a talented singer and piano performer. Her first debut as a singer-songwriter was at a concert in front of a student's conservatory, where she later obtained her master's degree in music performance at the age of 26. For long time she has been working on realizing her dream to become a pop singer/songwriter by polishing her vocal and writing abilities. Lana R. (Kissa) presently works as a singer, organist and music director for a Roman Catholic church in New York. As an active musician, she is involved in performances as a vocalist and piano/organ player at New York area venues, etc. She also writes arrangements for own projects and does all recordings. Her original song “I Celebrate” was recongnized at the 12th Billboard World Song Contest with Honorable mention. In 2008 Lana R. completed a full length solo album “Cherish”. Her "Reality & Dreams" was released in June 2011 and the most recent album “Candy Shop”-in February 2014. Lana’s music is a mixture of pop and classical elements with flavors of hip-hop, funk and jazz; influenced by Celine Dion, Madonna, Enya, Elton John, Gwen Stefani and others. This is the original music with the unique signature of the artist that can easily bring out a theatrical imagination; songs that are written from the heart.
