Darian Patterson a.k.a LANGUAGE Born in Centreville Hospital in 1986. He was housed in the Orr Weathers 26c building projects in East Saint Louis. Due to hard times he relocated. Moving from different households created a stressful period in his life, but through the love of music found a new source of how to express himself. Inspired by 2 Pac, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, TI, and Lil Wayne, just to name a few, LANGUAGE became quite proficient at the use of his own word play ( That’s how he came up with the name LANGUAGE). Having been born in a single parent home he is use to having to get what he wants on his own. With the trust in the Lord within his heart and the love of his family nothing can stop him. He says that he knows that success is a choice, and a choice that only a few get the opportunity to have. Therefore he creates his own path encouraged by the quote “ Failure is only the result of giving up, and giving up is not a option.”-Mark Mauer. Language continues to say -“I’m not in the spotlight yet. Nor am I even heard of yet, but you are going to start to see me more often and realize a difference in my hustle and see that my actions are rarely unplanned b/c no planning means that you don’t care for the outcome, and then you are stuck with no option or choice to steer your future towards success. Careless decisions result in failure. I’ve been sitting in the back just watching artist slip and fall. No man holds the ability to stop something that is inevitable. I’m here to bring back real talent to the game. The artist has lost their focus on talent and has gotten to a point of laziness where anybody is moldable to be a star and this persona of everything is the reason the artist today has forgotten the true purpose of music and that is to express feeling and to paint a picture you can relate to. With what I hear right now, These cats don’t even have a brush to paint with, so how can they call themselves artist? ” –LANGUAGE.
