Every once and a while, a respectable musician comes along to grace the world with something new and fresh. Western New York rapper/producer L.D.M. Has committed to being that artist. Spend ten minutes around him and you'll be moved by the creative energy that pours from him at all times. “ I was born to make this happen. There was never a moment in my life where music wasn't my main passion.” L.D.M. Recalls. As a young boy he was introduced to Hip Hop by his uncles, who did everything from B-Boying to deejaying. He sites Hip Hop greats Run-DMC, Eric B & Rakim and Slick Rick as some of the early influences that he can remember. By the time he reached his teenage years LDM began working in the studio, rhyming and producing for other up and coming artists in his area.
He also began to live on the opposite side of the law, something that eventually led to him spending time behind bars. After being released from incarceration, L.D.M decided that it was time for a change. “ I made the decision to give music my undivided attention” says LDM, who is also Co-CEO of Masterpiece Music Group with R&B singer/songwriter Beka. “As a businessman, I feel that there is no better time than now to create your own lane.” He brings an equally high level of optimism to all his ventures. Recently LDM has hard at work on his upcoming album entitled “Leader of Da Movement”.
