William Laessig, Justin Vacca and Skylar Jaynes met at a county fair in early 2001 after being mistaken for the Black Eyed Peas by an inebriated roustabout. The three instantly fell in love with the idea of not being the Black Eyed Peas and continued to go about their normal lives. After Justin Vacca served jail time for "That one thing that happened with that one panda awhile back" the three met again in Overland Park KS when William Laessig took a wrong turn for 40 miles and Justin Vacca ran there after he allegedly "Decided to run to the mailbox". Skylar Jaynes, who was unlucky enough to live there, found the two huddled together under a street light in the pouring rain and gave them a warm place to stay. There the three made music until the embers burned out and the rest is history.
