LeBon Giddings

I was born and raised on the eastside of Detroit. Growing up, I always had a passion for music. I found joy in singing and playing piano at an early age. Singing always came natural to my family, and we never missed a day of listening to some form of music. While in school, I performed for an audience on a number of occasions. I performed in the High School State Honors Choir (M.S.V.M.A.) and ranked first in the regional and district Solo and Ensemble Festival. I also performed in a quartet touring different high schools in the metro Detroit area. I started making beats when I began middle school, and recorded my first song in the eighth grade. First it started off as a hobby then it progressed into much more. Over the years I’ve gotten better and more experience at making beats, writing lyrics and recording vocals. Music artists who had an influence on me were Luther Vandross, Boys II Men, Donnell Jones, Usher, R. Kelly and Lloyd.
