Like A Storm is a New Zealand rock band made up of brothers Chris, Matt and Kent Brooks. The musician brothers moved to North America in 2005 to follow their dream of playing music in the US. After working their way up in the club scene, the band got their big break when they were invited to open up Creed's 2009 Reunion Tour. Creed guitarist Mark Tremonti offered Like A Storm the opening slot after hearing their first album, "The End of the Beginning", in a Los Angeles recording studio.   Like A Storm's energetic live show proved to be a veritable force of nature, with their debut album entering the Billboard New Artist charts from tour sales alone. After 3 years of touring packed arenas and sharing festival stages with bands like Creed, Shinedown, Alter Bridge, Korn and Five Finger Death Punch, the band was in the studio to record their sophomore effort when they were once again offered a nationwide Creed tour. The Brooks brothers, refusing to let their hectic tour schedule delay their new record, decided instead to make their new album while touring the US with Creed -which meant loading up two luggage carts full of recording equipment every night and requesting rooms far away from other hotel guests. As a result, the band's second album, "Chaos Theory: Pt 1", was recorded in hotel rooms, dressing rooms, and studios all across the country.   Following the 2012 Creed tour, Like A Storm booked their first headline club run, which proved to be a huge success. The band's loyal fan base responded by selling out venues, and their first television appearance on Virginia's "Hampton Roads Show" brought the show their highest ever ratings. On their recent "Adrenaline Intoxication" Tour, the band further established themselves as a national act, headlining some of the most famous rock venues in the US, including the Machine Shop and Piere's.   Living up to their reputation as one of the hardest working new bands out there, Like A Storm flew to Chicago mid-tour to film the music video for their brand new single "Love The Way You Hate Me", which will be released this Fall. The band that beat out heavyweights Slash and Avenged Sevenfold to win Tunelab's "Most Fan-Friendly Band" 2 years in a row gave their fans another unique opportunity - the chance to be in the video with them. In addition to their tours, studio albums, and videos, Like A Storm released "Worlds Collide" in 2013 -a unique live double-album that was recorded on opposite sides of the globe. The first disc, recorded live on the 2012 Creed tour, showcases the band's high energy rock set, while the second disc features acoustic songs recorded in the Brooks brothers' native New Zealand.   Like A Storm is currently in the studio working on their new record,"Chaos Theory: Pt 2".
