Benjamin Donald Ellis JR (May 8th 1993), better known as Lil’ Soulja Da Menace is a successful music recording artist, entrepreneur, producer, and CEO. The CEO & founder of Savage City Entertainment. Signed to Alander Music Group & Universal Music Group. Lil’ Soulja Da Menace gained his fame online while record in his home studio in North Charleston, South Carolina. He has topped unsigned artist charts as number one with his kindred spirit friend that he calls his brother, Von Lotto. Ellis was born in North Charleston, South Carolina and lived with his single mother & back and fourth to his grandmother in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Later he met Shavon Smith, who is North Carolina rapper Von Lotto. For three years he wrote many songs but never was available to record in a studio. He had been rapping since the age of 8 but started to record at 13. He gain much respect after creating his record label, Savage City Entertainment. In 2008, Soulja released first mixtape entitled Who Dat Boy Iz, which featured the successful single "Jig". Lil’ Soulja Da Menace signed to Alander Music Group with Universal Music Group in February 2010. Before he was signed Soulja gain respect and fame in 2008 by many online rappers and producers. Him and Von Lotto released smash his singles “Bottle of Bacardi” and “Say Hello” which hit the top charts as number 1 on many different websites. These singles bought the respect to Savage City & people named is the biggest unsigned label online. Many artist tried to get signed with the label which bought many haters a copycats. Other artist hated to the see Lil’ Soulja, Von Lotto, & Savage City Entertainment be successful so they took strategies and used it against Savage City. It was at that point where Soulja closed his doors to being the most helpful person to go to online to the least. Now labels try to compete with Lil’ Soulja Da Menace but competition always looses. Lil’ Soulja Da Menace stated in late March that he would release his first album in June 2011. The album entitled “Mind State of a Hustler” was actually the title of a mixtape that he set to release in May 2010. He canceled that mixtape and would rename it. Also he announced that him & Von Lotto would release a mixtape prior to the album entitled “Brothers of Destruction” that they set to release. There is no word when the album would release but they did announce that there would be famous artist featuring. As Lil’ Soulja Da Menace sets up his album release in June 2011 he also announce that well known artist & producers would be in the production of this album.
