In 2005, Lisa put together her first band,Soma Star, who played many of Chicago's hottest music clubs for five years. Soma Star's vibe ranged from lush and ethereal to aggressive and hard driving. In 2007, Soma Star released "Awake", a 5-song EP produced by Steven Gillis (Filter).
Recently, Lisa disbanded Soma Star, and is writing new material that is leaning more toward the lush, layered and emotional ballads that capture her strength as a writer and fuel her soul.
