Born Mario Salazar and raised in Englewood Colorado, LoDo grew up in a confusing lifestyle. He had very little interaction with his mother since he was 2 months old, and his father had struggled for awhile after LoDo was born, leaving his grandparents as his guardians. As a teen, he followed the lead of many famous recording artists and began freestyle rapping. The freestyle trade was not very lucrative for LoDo, until he eventually encountered the art of producing instrumentals. It's around this point in 2003 that he turned toward producing and away from rap. With little cash in pocket, his bedroom ascended into a high quality production studio. Even though it took him several years to get a few grand invested, he sold a multitude of his instrumentals to gather the funding for this operation. After the dust settled on his new studio, LoDo felt desolate. After making a steady name for himself with his production work, a condensor mic and an audio interface was purchased for his enhanced studio. Making hits, doing shows, and going on tour was in LoDo's near future. LoDo's first professional album is on the way and it's nothing shy of spectacular. A graduate of Englewood High School, class of '06, Full-time college student of Berklee for audio engineering, LoDo's determination and motivation for this music industry leads him in the proper direction.
