After the split up of big San Antonio band "Samson and the Sea" lead singer Lonely Horse moved away into the hill country to work out his long time depression with the writing of the Loney Horse book. Pulling mostly from native american styles of voice and melody he began to write these stories of his life and family starting out as a book it quickly turned into a musical project. Always staying in touch with former guitarist Fernando Garcia. Nick then moved back to san antonio to make these stories into something real and visual. Quickly aquiring drummer Justin Garcia(YGM/The Hot Suns) and young guitarist Sorush Rajbar (Pony Dancer), they began to play shows around the San Antonio area, and even booked a 2 week tour up to Colorado and back to Texas. Bassist Andrew Elizalde some how happened to find us and brought his friend Marco along for finishing touches on the sound we were looking for. Keeping away from the local scene and trying to start there own movement of culture, music, and tradition Lonely Horse quickly grew a large fanbase of excited listeners and friends. Their music tells stories of the old west and the old north. the sound is very sad with a melody of much hope for the human race. They've played numerous shows within and around the texas areas keeping it quiet but loud, with big bands like Dignan, The Rocketboys, We Shot The Moon, Manchester Orchestra, O'Brother and many more. Having been featured in the S.A Current as featured artist of the month, Lonely Horse plans to take this year by storm and diligance of sound and harmony.
