Martes comes from the collection of musicians from different renowned bands on the Bogota's musical scene, initiate by Cabeto (music producer, sound engineer currently working for Chocquibtown, Antipoda and Lucas Arnau, ex guitar and vocals of Qe2 and Sha-i). Martes comes from the collection of musicians from different renowned bands on the Bogota's musical scene, initiate by Cabeto (music producer, sound engineer currently working for Chocquibtown, Antipoda and Lucas Arnau, ex guitar and vocals of Qe2 and Sha-i). Martes starts activities as a band in August 2009: Carlos Pino on bass and vocals (bass, arranger and composer Forest University Bolaefuego bassist, No, Pulenta, Paito and Pipers of Punta Brava, a former Severa Matacera), John Mario, guitar and voice (music producer, guitarist Victor Mallarino, former Zarath and Billy the Kid) and yeyo on drums and vocals (drums Palanca, session drummer, live and under consideration - former Severa Matacera and Kings of the Bongo-Netherlands-). Since its establishment as a band (the project itself comes from years ago, to date has about 35 compositions), Martes has made presentations at Black Mama, Jackass, Matik Matik, bbar & Terraza with bands like La Severa Matacera, Skampida, Toxic, Narcopsychotic, and switchfoot. In July 2010 "Miedo" was selected by the magazine Shock and the Rock al Parque Festival to be screened along with another 25 videos during the festival days.In late 2010 Martes released its first single on radio accompanied by the music video and EP which material is now complete. Part of this material is available at ww.myspace.com / losmartes, space that has the date 9671 visits. The band also has the sponsorship and support of 4 cuartos (recordig studio) for all activities.
