Lynch is a melodic hard rock band based in the Chicago area. We have just released a CD called
“Window of your Soul” containing 7 tracks, available on iTunes, CD Baby and several other digital
distributers. Lynch has played many shows over the years, namely Chicago City Limits, The Historic
Portage Theater and Penny Road Pub, just to name a few.
We have recently gotten involved with MusicForTroops.com, an organization that gets bands to
upload songs, for our troops and vets to download for free .We have a song called “Be There” about
those loved ones left behind when someone dies in war. We think it's a great cause and the song is
fitting. MusicForTroops loved “Be There”and not only posted it immediately but also featured us on
their homepage. Quite an honor! Also, we are playing an Autism Benefit show this April at a large
venue called Austin's Saloon. Many national acts have played Austins, we're looking forward to it.
Lynch has been contacted by Fireworks magazine, a melodic rock publication out of the UK. They
are doing a review of our CD in an upcoming issue. We are looking forward to the people across the
pond hearing our music. It's an exciting time for Lynch!
“Window of your Soul” truly, is an emotional roller coaster. We believe that happens when the
songs are from the heart. There is the song that makes you wanna drive fast, to the one that makes you
cry, to the one that makes the hair on your neck stand up. From heart pounding to heart broken and
everything in between.
The CD was recorded at Fat Recording Studio. Dave Martorana uses only vintage analog
equipment, that lends itself to getting that old sound we were looking for. No digital nonsense, strictly
old school. Mastering was done by Doug McBride of Gravity Studios. Doug has had many notable
clients. Most recently: Buddy Guy, Rise Against, Hawthorn Heights and Fall Out Boy just to name a
few. The CD cover design, all artwork and the Lynch logo was all created within the band. Photoshop
is a wonderful thing!
Lynch is actively pursuing a distribution contract and radio airplay. All offers will be happily
considered, so don't be afraid to ask.
