. .. We are MACERATE.. We became a band back in 2007, but since that glorious day, we've been through a few iterations and drummers. We formed with the initial intention of just jamming out and playing a few classic tunes, but as we gelled and time passed, we realised that we were pretty f*cking good! And with that realisation came the epiphony that we needed to take this show on the road! And so, MACERATE was born, with the sole intention or bring some heavy music back. No more emo or ...

We formed with the initial intention of just jamming out and playing a few classic tunes, but as we gelled and time passed, we realised that we were pretty f*cking good! And with that realisation came the epiphony that we needed to take this show on the road! And so, MACERATE was born, with the sole intention or bring some heavy music back. No more emo or indie bands, just good old fashioned METAL! With that aim in mind, we set about finding a direction. The main objective was to get out there and play, and to that end we decided that if we were going to bring back the metal, we should emulate the greatest metal band of all time: ..METALLICA... So, whilst we sat about crafting some tunes to call our own, we sat and perfected some Metallica covers, covering their entire career from Kill 'em All up to Death Magnetic and everything in between.
