In an industry where success can be easily determined by the highest bidder and the toughest out there, many fail to stay true to their original purpose, music, and fans, and fade into the background. It’s a tough world and a rough business that many cant handle and is most definitely not for the faint of heart.
However, aside from a name that assumes failure is inevitable, Made To Break is anything but fragile. Forming in 2009, Made To Break killed the quiet that surrounded Bothell, WA and has instead filled the silence with the sounds of vocalist/guitarist Matt Bacnis, bassist Tanner Wilkin and drummer Matt Wolph. This unbelievable and high-energy 3-piece met through connections with Matt Bacnis and Matt Wolph Heading into the studio in Early 2010, Made To Break recorded their first EP titled The Good Times, The Bad Times, featuring singles such as My Way Home and Unbelievable. With its infectious rhythm and "in-your-face" melodies, the EP mirrored heart and soul into its music, and became a huge success locally at shows and online. Since then, Made To Break has started pre-production for their follow-up album, This Love, set to be recorded and released in winter 2010.
Although just out of high school, Made To Break has built a reputation and a heavy presence around all of Washington, and has a consistent record of numerous accomplishments. MTB has competed in and won multiple Battle of the Bands competitions around Washington state, headlined numerous shows, supported bands such as He Is We, Moneta and many more, received 3rd Place and national recognition in the Intel Super Stars competition on www.ourstage.com
, self-produced and released one EP (with another on the way) and summer single (Upside Down), and has given music lovers everywhere an opportunity to get lost in Made To Break's catchy and addictive sound for hours on end.
