A year later he linked up with a artist named Prince aka M-city finest and they had 2 common goals they wanted fame and they wanted money so the collaborated on a mixtape titled Grind City VA which turned alot heads because of the title and the go hard lyrics it made the streets want to know just who MAKAVIS was shortly after the mixtape Makavis began to work on his solo mixtape “Way Below Zero” which was exactly what his new fans where wondering if he could release a body of work alone and still make it interesting and worth listening to shocked by the postitive response from the mixtape he took this time to collab with other local artist and push his name through the city and the entire DMV area but after killing countless verses on other rappers songs fans began to ask when the the next mixtape was coming then he released “The Open LeVee” in May of 2011 on the web the mixtape is currently killing the internet with a endless supply of punchlines effortless flows and wordplay Makavis is quickly taking over the area with his new MoneyFace team..Makavis has joined forces with Prince and numerous other artist with Grind City VA 2 which is promised to change the way people look at rappers from the DMV and he is also he is also prepping to release a solo ablum entitled “Dear Haters…”Now with over 100,000 plays on the web Makavis is taking shots at all his non-believers and haters with upcoming producer XcaliberZero on the beats the ablum is highly anticipated but will it live up to the hype?
