About Malachi Sterling

Hillsboro, OR

Nathanial Stuart Ingram born May 7th, 1990 is today known as Malachi Sterling, coming from a long line of musicians, singers’, writers, artists and performers. You can trace his musical heritage as far back to the early 1900’s when his Great-Great-Uncle, the famous fiddler Charlie Wymer performed as a regular at what is known today as The Crystal Ball Room. Malachi wrote and produced his first composition, “In the Beginning" at the early age of 12. At the age of only 16 he had composed and produced his first CD, "Summer time in the City" with 26 tracks of amazing music with multiple genres including Bluegrass, Blues, Folk, Light Rock and Classical. In the summer of 2007 when he took up his stage name Malachi Sterling he had his first CD release at the infamous NW Music Millennium in Portland, Oregon. That same year he was the opening act for Kyle Vincent at the Influence gallery, was the headlining performer at the Satyricon Night Club, and performed at the John Denver Earth Day Tribute at the Hillsboro Civic Center, participated with The Songwriters in the Round Benefit Concert for the Oregon Food Bank and also helped Liberty High School raise money for Dornbechers Childrens Hospital. Nathanial was honored for his achievements on the front page of Hillsboro Argus’ community section and has had the pleasure of playing with many other seasoned musicians from all over the West Coast. Malachi is 18 now, freshly out of highschool with a Mastery of Art and Communications and is planning to release his second CD, “Defuzed” this summer, with 15 compositions of beautiful music from an excellent writer, singer and performer.
