Based on computers, synthesizers, bass and voice, the music oscillates between etheral feelings and highly energized landscapes. Described by many as a bridge between industrial, rock, techno and pop music, the duet provides a unique dancing music, bringing your most hidden parts upfront. After 2 demo CD’s in 2002 and 2003, the band released their LP « QWARTZ » in 2004. Pure electronic/accoustic crossover, the album propelled them to the next level. Since 2001, with more than 150 live shows experiencing with video guru ATOMART, MANDRAC shared the stage with a widely diversified range of artists such as MODESELEKTOR, ARCHIVE, THE SHAPE SHIFTERS, YELLE, PHONO and CHRIS DE LUCA... But all of this didn't stop the writing process. In 2008, MANDRAC starts the recording of their second album entitled « Tiny people, tiny robots, tiny monsters having fun ». The album has been released on Believe Digital / Yellowprawn records in January 2009, and is available on most of the music selling website you know (ITunes, Amazon, Virgin…).
