Marceize..pronounced (Markeyz) was born in Denver, CO. To this day he knows no father, only God Within. His mother gave him and his 2 older brothers up for adoption after strenuous circumstances. At age 3, he began a life of loneliness, sadness, and confusion. He and his brothers were tossed around in group & foster homes for about 5 years. At an adoption party in Denver, Marceize and his two older brothers were spotted by the Whitfield family who immediately took a liking to the three playful, handsome ;} boys, who were now 7, 9, & 11. After a few successful visits to the Whitfield house, the boys were adopted and moved to Colorado Springs, CO. Strict rules & forced religion forced Marceize's two older brothers out of the house & back to their native streetlife by the time he was a freshman in H.S. He had been quietly singing for as long as he could remember. However, he didn't get serious about making it a career until around 2002 when he heard himself on a song he co-wrote with (Swish) called "We Gon' Ride", which became a neighborhood Anthem. More into basketball & girls ;} Marceize focused on staying in the gym and keeping his grades up. At lunch you'd either catch him in the gym showing off his basketball skills for the girls..or in the music room showing off his vocal skills.also for the girls..LOL After a Life of "Movie-Worthy" tribulations, He still stands..And He stands Tall. He began traveling in 03' after enlisting in the U.S. Air Force. He began writing & recording hooks for rappers in AZ, KS, TX & MO. He also started doing shows and making a name for himself in AZ. In 2006, on his way to an afterparty after leaving a show, he and a close friend had a confrontation which led to both of them being shot. After a Miraculous recovery, Marceize returned to the Microphone with a Purpose. While in the hospital he began writing songs that were about my own personal experiences. Ever since then he's been singing, writing, and producing his own tracks. Marceize is a sexy, talented, new-school R&B singer with an old-school feel. Growing up, he listened to a number of artists to include: Marvin Gaye, Teddy P, Luther Vandross, Boys II Men, Usher, Genuiwine, Tyrese, Tank, Jamie Foxx, (N'Sync, BackStreet Boys) BlackStreet, New Edition, H-Town, Omarion, One Republic, AeroSmith..and many more. I'm a fan and lover of music as a whole. Real R&B is an almost-forgotten Art. It's time for me to be vital part of revitalizing what r&b really means to the music industry. With the Perfect Looks, the Perfect Voice, and the Perfect amount of Passion & Swagg..Marceize was born to make it! "With God on my side, I know that the sky is the limit".
