I wasn't real popular in school. I wasn't a ladies man or anything. My family didn't make a whole lot of money. But I was still happy, cuz I had God, a good family, friends, & last but not least music." From the time that he could talk, Marc was a fan of music and singing. Whether it was singing in the church choir at South Union Baptist Church, or singing along to Luther, Frankie Beverley, and Al Green while riding in the car with his parents. R&B is his life. To Marc singing and performing has always been just something fun to do, but after some inspiration from a fellow friend, and artist Jamen, Marc is now pursuing a recording career. "Sometimes I think of my life as a huge movie. So many interesting things have happened in my life. When something is going on, I just put it down on paper. All those stories ended up being songs, I just found myself just writing more and more songs." With so many different music influences, Marc's music can be about diverse topics as love, relationships, & real life. "Everything I sing about is based on a true story. whether its my story or a story of someone close to me, everything is real. Its not just about the beat, I want to tell a a story every time." With a diverse collection of songs Marco's music has a worldwide appeal. "I'm crazy. Almost like someone with multiple personalities. On one song I can be singing about struggle, sadness, & hustle, like a Z-Ro or Scarface song. Then I can make a song about past relationships and heartbreak like Musiq, or Anthony Hamilton. Then another song I can just come at you with huge swagger and confidence, like The Dream & Trey Songz. And of course I can reach in my soul and pull out the the smoothness in the like of Maxwell & Robin Thicke."
