So many things come down to moments in our lives. My musical journey has been a collection of those moments. It began in Queens New York. As a young kid I remember listening to my parents record collection. As a kid I remember the variety shows of Glen Campbell, Andy Williams, Johnny Cash, The Banana Splits, Beatles cartoons and numerous others. I particularly remember a show called HR Pufnstuf in which a British kid named Jack Wild sang some pretty cool songs while being chased by a witch. I discovered The Beatles and a whole new sound of music opened up for me. I really did dig those years musically. I would always sing at the top of my lungs to those songs. I remember Gilbert O’ Sullivan as being someone who I thought really wrote some very cool tunes. It seemed at that time I really was a sponge that soaked up a certain musical vibe. Flash forward a few years and I was really into the guitar. I went out and bought a nylon string guitar and began to try and make sense of teaching myself the latest rock songs. Soon after the nylon string guitar I got my first electric guitar and amp. I played for hours trying to learn songs from my record collection. I discovered Cheap Trick in high school and I was totally blown away. I loved how they injected melody into a hard rock format and I think Robin Zander has some of the best pipes in music. It was a short time later that Eddie Van Halen came on the scene and the guitar world changed. I also discovered David Gilmour of Pink Floyd and another guitar revelation had been made known to me. I remember getting my first Marshall stack and starting a band with my brother in the late 80’s. We called ourselves SPINNER. We had some fun playing live and recording during that period. I am a fan of so many great bands and songs that it is impossible to list them all. Today, I am writing and recording music and I could not be any happier. Please enjoy listening to my new songs.
