The Carolina native rapper known as Jon Muhammad hails from Wilmington North Carolina. Clearly a talented wordsmith, he was selected top 20 of Coast 2 Coast top 100 in 2014. He cites his main influences as the hiphop artists he spent his youth listening to from artist like Tupac to Outkast. He honed his skills as a rapper by entering rap battles, claiming his first victory on his very first attempt. While attending college at The Art Institute of Atlanta studying audio production, he struggled to find his way in the world of music. A couple of years after attending The Art Institute, Muhammad began to seriously concentrate his efforts on his music career. He began working on his debut EP titled “The Lost Art of Dreaming”. The buzz around this new talented North Carolina rapper started to build his brand alongside lifelong and fellow artist Deztroybeatz and the streets were sitting up and taking notice. Following the release of The Lost Art of Dreaming, The first order of business was to release a hit of the summer.. His song, Patience, really got people talking. He then re-released Len Bias. This was closely followed by Hope in the summer of 2014. By now, Jon was really building up a reputation as the one to watch in rap and hip-hop.
