Matt Simons

Through a fusion of piano Pop-Rock and Jazz, 23 year-old Singer/Songwriter Matt Simons blends his wealth of influences from Ben Folds and Gavin Degraw to Stevie Wonder and John Coltrane, into an upbeat, eclectic and fresh sound all his own. After graduating Magna Cum Laude as the President’s Award Recipient in Music from the prestigious SUNY-Purchase Conservatory with a degree in Jazz Saxophone Performance, he decided musical academia was not the right path for him. Matt instead sought to follow his affection for songwriting and hasn’t looked back. Supporting his current release Fall In Line, Matt has been touring extensively on both the East and West coasts along with numerous shows at the mainstays in New York City, where he resides. His heartfelt, passionate performance with the musical knowledge to back it up has proven to audiences all over the country to be a winning combination.
