And this idea of starting a band started in high school. My boy Eric and I would get together and jam. The only problem was that we both played the same instrument. We never found a bassist, drummer, or vocalist. So as you may have guessed, we didn't get too far. Except, we did learn a valuable lesson: bands missing three or more components don't get far.A bit later though, Derek picked up two sticks and started to make some noise. We hit that and smacked this but got tired of the same ol' thing. We wanted something more, something bigger [thats what she said]. Couldn't resist mate.It was around this time that Eric lost two of his strings. So we got together and wrote on desks and on the back of our hands. But more importantly we wrote music. Now we faced the hard part: finding a singer.Actually finding a singer was easy. While I was at school a voice fell from the sky into the form of my roommate Kevin.
