In addition to her busy solo career, Melissa is part of one of Canada's newest and most exciting duo acts. In 2009, after meeting at an audition, Melissa teamed up with the accomplished pianist and youtube sensation, Leah Mertz of Chestermere, Alberta, and together they formed the sensational duo "Meliah". Although the girls have been performing together only four short months, they are already turning heads in the industry, and upon special request, performed for over 10,000 international spectators at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Whistler, British Columbia.
