Melissa Mcsherry

Melissa Mcsherry grew up in Florida and enjoyed writing piano compositions when she was a little girl. Her music is uplifting and has inspired so many people. In 1995 Melissa got married and moved to Virginia. In her late twenties, while raising a family, Melissa came down with a lot of respiratory problems and through it all she became more closer to God and and his plan for her. Melissa endured a lot of challenges and became more focused on writing compositions. She joined ourstage.com in 2008 and became more seasoned by entering monthly competitions which she has achieved Top 10 and Top 40. Just this past November 2012 Melissa acheived 1st place in the Ambient/chill competition. Melissa plays solo at her church and also performs for recitals, ceremonies and background film. She now has released her 3rd album "Amethyst Skies" and continues to write more inspirational songs. Melissa Mcsherry truly has a gift from God and puts all her faith and trust in him.
