Born to Donna Marie Morin and Glenn White on August 5th, 1979 in Leominster, Massachusetts; Michael began singing at the tender age of 6, where his grandmother, who was his caretaker, took him along to church and put him in the children's choir. He began learning what it meant to be part of a choir or at least a bigger sound, and this taste of emotional music inspired him to hunger for more music in all different genres. As he grew, Michael became more and more involved with music; and at the age of 8 years old, was being requested by churches to come and perform at their church. Michael began touring the Westchester/Putnam/Rockland County circuit singing at these various churches. He then at the age of 13 joined 3 more choirs: the Chancel Choir and the Men's Choir, and the Youth Choir. While he was noted as the youngest member in their history, there were those who questioned his membership due to his age. He sang 'Handel's Messiah' for the first time ever, and blew the doubters away. The pastor demanded that he be kept in each choir, unless he changed his mind, or unless Michael became overburdened. Michael went on to sing in all 4 of the churches choirs, some simultaneously. He then was drawn by what he heard on the radio; singers such as Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Brian McKnight and so on, and left the church to finish school and try to pursue a singing career. At 17, he met a local producer, Anthony Sebro, who was a veteran in producing music and had successfully made two hits on his own, took Michael under his wing and taught him some of the ways of the studio, of the industry, and most importantly, performing. Mr. Sebro showed Michael not to be afraid to sing in front of ANYONE, because you never know who hears you. Michael went on to perform on several tracks for some of his other artists, most of whom were rappers. Michael caught the ear of some greats, such as Robert Fox, the last lead singer for the Drifters, DMX, and others. At 23, Michael met up with another lady, Sabina Howard, who asked him to perform with her dance company in New Jersey for a Motown Review. Michael ended up doing it, and blew the audience away with his renditions of "My Cherie Amour" , "Ain't too proud to Beg", "Ain't no Mountain High Enough". His energy and enthusiasm sparked fire in the rest of the cast, and his laughter was infectious. Needless to say, the production was a smash hit. Since then, Michael has done theatre, including "Oliver!" at Yorktown Stage, Apollo Theatre, American Idol, and various other gigs.
