Michael Eastman

I grew up in a small town in the White Mountains of New Hampshire where everyone knew who you were (or at least thought they did). At 5 I crashed my bicycle and watched from above as a man revived my lifeless body while the kids playing on the corner lot looked on. At 9 a .22 cal shell casing hit me in the face, my pal had thrown it into the fire and it did what bullets do..exploded. At 14 while my folks were at bowling nite I pulled my christmas present from their closet (my first guitar), tuned it up, played, untuned it and put it back. At 17 I was in a band, we wrote our own material but I graduated a year before my pals and with few opportunities I enlisted in the army. Four years later and a little more aware of how the world spins I came home. I spent a fair portion of my life identifying with someone or something only to realize how insignificant it all really is. Chasing ancient secrets for the better part of this experience what have I learned? That the Great Mystery is mysterious..forever changing and expanding.
I believe in UFO's, Fairies, Ghost's and Angels. I believe LOVE is the answer. I believe as children we are programed to participate in the cogs that turn the machine. I believe we only need one law, (do unto others as you'd have done to you). I believe in a life force that exists in everything and I believe my chicken wings are perhaps the best on the planet. I hope you enjoy this music, perhaps it will set you to thinking. It's sorta raw and unpolished..much like it's creator but it's a fair representation of the events and people who have influenced me..and my music.
