From childhood, his parents instilled the drive to play an instrument and excel at it. Now an aspiring solo musician, Jones has come a long way from that 11-year-old boy who barely knew how to form chords. Despite his changes in musical taste and capacity, one thing has remained: his love for sharing Jesus with others. "I feel like music is such a powerful tool for communication because it's a universal language," Jones says, "I know it’s a cliché, but it really transcends opinion differences." Jones has carved a niche for himself and created his own personal style that even he had difficulty distinguishing. Lyrically is where Jones can truly define his craft—his songs are deeply personal and relate to his life experiences, both good and bad. Even the most unsuspecting of listeners will be captivated by the intimacy of his songs. As for the future, Jones has his targets set. "I'm just really excited to get my songs out there and playing some shows," Jones says. But we can only anticipate what's to come.
