Michelle is a solo artist and also a member of the band Vonrenzo. Michelle was asked to perform for her music hero, the late Jeff Buckley, at a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Fan Gathering and Tribute concert in Cleveland which proved to be a life changing experience. “It was a surreal experience being there. To be part of a celebration for someone who inspired you so much and to be thanked by his family, friends and fans was nothing short of amazing. I felt like I had to stop myself and ask if it was all really happening. He was the reason why I finally picked up a guitar. A dream come true.” Named “Sultry” by the Jeff Buckley International Newsletter, Michelle (a 3 time Motif Music Awards nominee) has opened for the likes of Judy Collins,appeared at WXPN’s World Cafe Live and was asked to pay tribute to the late folk legend Odetta at a 2010 MLK Jr. Day Celebration.
