The band was formed in 2006 and after only one year and after geting a new drummer and bassplayer the listeners of the Swedish rock radio station, Bandit, voted MIKE as the best unsigned band in the Stockholm area. Hello. The band MIKE plays melodic California punk rock, and can be compared to stars like No Fun At All, Millencolin & NOFX. The band was formed in 2006 and after only one year and after geting a new drummer and bassplayer the listeners of the Swedish rock radio station, Bandit, voted MIKE as the best unsigned band in the Stockholm area. In the beginning of 2008, the release of their first album “Save the day”,was completed. When the album was still under production one of the songs, “Life in a Small Town” was already being played on the radio! Mike also went on its first tour abroad. Shortly followed by more touring in Sweden and parts of Europe. So now we ask you to spread the tones of these rising stars. I find it obvious that it´s in your interest to have alot of great music for your costumers, so i assure you that "Save the DAY" will make a great contribution to the lineup.
