Mission 5:16 is a Christian band out of central Missouri made up of three Christian musicians including Kyle on Lead Guitar/Lead Vocals, Wade on Bass Guitar/ Lead Vocals and Darin on Drums. We strive and make every effort to glorify the Lord in any way possible. We feel that music has a powerful effect on hearts young and old and we pray that our music can bless all people and lead them in song and worship so that they can experience the same acts of God that we do. It is only through our talents that God has given us, that we are able to do what He has called us to, and may it be a blessing on your soul. We play and write original songs that we know you will like and we also do some well known songs by other artists so that you can sing along to ones you may already know. We have Christian music and lyrics with a stunning rock/pop style that will lift you up in the toughest of times. We have praise and worship music that leaves you wanting more of the Holy Spirit's power. With astonishing guitar licks, changes in tempo, and our own testimonies, we know that God will use us to show you His love. We have even been known to let the audience sing praises to God on stage with us. We hope that you will come out and see us at the next available event because we know that God will make it a life changing experience for you. We give all the honor and glory to Him at all times because without Him, we could do nothing.

This scripture serves as a mission statement and charge for us, Mission 5:16. We are an energetic band who strives to deliver the Christian message to people of all ages through our music.
We want you to know that we are available for bookings for your special events involving your youth or the community. We can provide you with different kinds of music that suit your event best; whether it be praise and worship, contemporary songs which you may hear on the radio today, or rock music for more energetic events.
To some people, a lot of modern Christian music is written lightly with the emphasis only on the lyrics. Our songs have the same meaningful lyrics, but do not sacrifice musical quality. Music is a powerful way to reach out to all kinds of people, most importantly those who have not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. We want to reach these people through something that they have an interest in, namely music. We believe that music allows us to reach people by pleasing their ears so that their hearts will be open to the message of how Jesus can bring true meaning to their lives.

We would also like to mention a few ways that you could help our ministry. First and foremost you can remember us in your prayers. Secondly, as with any ministry, there are expenses involved being on the road. Because of these expenses many Christian music artists find it difficult to minister outside of their local area. Many times we cover most of our expenses and sometimes all of them because we want to serve the Lord in any way we can. However, the costs of traveling, hotels, equipment, gas, etc. can be limitations to our ministry. We realize that only because of donations outside of our own can our ministry continue to grow.
God has already used us in powerful ways and we plan to continue our efforts with the talents he has given us. We are asking for your help to grow our ministry. We assure you that any gift we are given will be used to give glory and honor to God and to reach others by spreading the Gospel through music.
