Miss Kanessa "Kitty Wells first noticed that being a star was her destiny when she was a child performing in talent shows modeling, singing and dancing. When Kitty was about 9 or 10 Miss Jeanette Butler of Brooklyn New York Bedford Stuyversant noticed Kitty's talent and took her and trained her how to be a STAR, a DIVA and a LADY! When Kitty was about 9 or 10 Miss Jeanette Butler of Brooklyn New York Bedford Stuyversant noticed Kitty's talent and took her and trained her how to be a STAR, a DIVA and a LADY! There wasnt much she had to teach little Kitty because Kitty already had the essentials of being a celebrity! Kitty joined Jeanette's all girl group "THE LITTLE LADY'S OF SOUL" and Kitty demanded attention it was so natural for Kitty she loved being in front of the camera and she loved to be on stage! Being raised in Detroit Michigan and the BK "THE MOTOWN" Kitty fell in love with music early on, Kitty loved singing in the choir, she attended First Baptist Church of Roseville where she was introduced to praise and worship.Coming from a family of the Nation of Islam she found her own faith. Kitty always wrote in a diary where she expressed all of her emotions and how she felt in her life. She always dreamed about being famous she wanted to be a singer. Kitty had a strong music background, her grandmother Gwendolyn Wells was a local singer in Detroits hottest nightclubs. Kitty was always called DRAMATIC she always practiced acting. Her mother G. Anntonette Wells noticed her childs talent as well so once she was in middle school she enrolled Kitty into the Marvin L Winans Academy of Performing Arts on E Van Dyke BLVD, this was Kiity' home away from home. Kitty was a triple threat she acted in plays such as The Wiz, The Nutcracker, Fame, she song soprano 1 in the choir,and her favorite was dancing, Kitty became another person when she was on the stage she became a STAR!! She loved modern, jazz,hip hop and ballet!! She also fell in love with the Cello so she joined the Winans Academy Orchrestra,she played r&B ON THE CELLO!The Winans Academy molded her and she thanks them. By the time highschhol came around Kitty WAS A STAR!!! SO it was no suprise when she joined Jared W Finney' Rythem n Soul Marching Band, Kitty was 1 of the lead dancers of the Divalicous Greenhouse Dancers. Kitty was born a competitor so as far as competition went "THERE IS NONE"! Kitty went through some of the hardest times when she lost her grandmother, Linnie Williams she became really emotional and for a minute she lost alot of sight as far as what she would do with herself...Kitty turned to poetry. Her journals we're where she expressed her deepest pain metaphorically.Kitty tells a story where she says her grandmother came to see her, and told her that it was not the end but the beginning! Kitty got back into it and went to college @ Alabama State University and life was going good and then her first semester her other Grandmother Gwendolyn passed...this through her off for a while because it was unexpected. But now @ 20 yrs old Kitty has turned her most emotional and private poems into song's and is finally getting reconized for her talent in writting. Kitty is just patiently waiting and keeping GOD in her prayers she belives that she will be a STAR!!She always say's "I WONT STOP" "GOD HAS SOO MUCH IN STORE FOR ME I CAN FEEL IT". "When it comes to love, I at times rebel, I dont trust men, I have my reasons I saw early how men...not all but some men take advantage of women. I refuse to fall victim to any type of abuse, I do want to be married one day and have children...but not now. The guys i know today dont qualify! IM FOCUSED ON WINNING AND ESTABLISHING MY OWN WITH NO DISTRACTIONS!" BLESS BE THE LORD ON MY JOURNEY "AT THE END AND THE BEGINING OF THE DAY I REMAIN TRUE TO WHO I AM, MY BLOOD FLOWS ALL THE WAY TO THE CARRIBEAN ISLANDS OF TRINIDAD "THE LAND OF THE HUMMINGBIRD", BORN AND RAISED IN BROOKLYN I ALWAYS HAD A RESPECT...WAIT LET ME REPHRASE THAT I ALWAYS HAD AN INFATUATION FOR HIP HOP. BUT I KEPT MY FOCUS ON MY EDUCATION I KNEW THAT WITHOUT EDUCATION MY JOURNEY COULD BLOW UP IN MY FACE. I DONT WANT THEM CRACKA'S TO HAVE SHIT TO SAY ABOUT ME. IM BLACK, INTELLIGENT, BEAUTIFUL AND TALENTED...EVERYTHING THAT THEY HATE! MOVING TO DETROIT INTRODUCED ME TO MY SOULFULL ROOTS...MY MOST APPRECIATED ASSETS...NOT THE MOST EXPIRIANCED ONE WHEN IT COMES TO LOVE BUT YOU CANT BLAME A GIRL FOR DREAMING. THATS HOW I AM...I WANT TO BE LOVED, BUT I CAN DO WITHOUT LOVE AT THE SAME TIME BECAUSE I SAW HOW LOVE HAVE LEAD SO MANY OF MY PEOPLE TO DEAD ENDS. BUT STILL I WONT TURN MY BACK ON LOVE, WHEN MR RIGHT COMES IMA BE MISS RIGHT. I WANT HIM TO BE HARD..I LOVE HARD MENBUT ALSO SOFT BECAUSE UNDERNEATH IT ALL IM A SOFT WOMAN AND MY HARD EDGE IS A COVER UP....ITS TO PROTECT MYSELF FROM BEING HURT. SO WHEREVER MY JOURNEY TAKES ME IM READY...COCKED AND READY TO BUST LOL"
