From the legendary Ryman Auditorium to The Bluebird Café, audiences have just plain fallen in love with Misty Loggins. Averaging over 200 performances a year across the United States and Europe, this Hollywood, Georgia farm girl continues to entertain sold out crowds with her award winning musicianship and dynamic personality. While Misty is undeniably country, her music draws from a deep well of influences ranging from traditional country to blues, southern rock and beyond. From making the crowd roar with laughter singing about the trials and tribulations of a female big-rig driver in “The Truckin’ Song,” to the soulful, bluesy twang of “Red Georgia Mud” and her tear jerking, true life story of growing up as a farmer’s daughter in “Poor Man’s Floor,” Misty’s songwriting takes the listener on an unforgettable journey that they‘ll be eager to go on again. From rocking out on her electric Gretsch guitar, to picking a toe-tapping tune on the banjo, Misty loves to entertain and it shows. Misty has shared the stage with many of the Grand Ole Opry's biggest stars. In addition to entertaining a sold out crowd at the historic Ryman auditorium as the opening act for WSM and the Grand Ole Opry’s 80th anniversary, she’s also had her own weekly show with her band at Opryland Hotel's Jack Daniels Saloon to and has been a featured singer/dancer at her hero Dolly Parton’s theme park, “Dollywood.” Her vivid songwriting has made her a favorite at the BMI Key West Songwriters Festival, where this year marked her fourth year in a row as a featured performer. Recently Misty portrayed the role of Jeanie in Nashville's own musical "Middle Of Nowhere" at the Texas Troubadour Theatre as well as held a leading role in two independent films. She has also been featured in several nationwide television performances. While currently wrapping up her own album, Misty is honored to have had other artists cut her songs on their own projects. She looks forward to seeing your smiling face at her show.
