Since the age of 10, Jessica has developed and grown an everlasting love for music. Born and raised in a small town known as Louisville, Ga., where the road to stardom seemed far from reach,Jessica began to venture off in efforts to fulfill her dreams as a singer and songwriter. Her love for music began shorly after being a member of her church choir and singing in the mirror of her bathroom at home alongside her sister Sonya, who was also blessed with this God-given talent. She and her sister joined their cousin and friend in becoming members of R&B group Infinity, which soon fell apart,leaving Jessica and her sister dumfounded but with the ambition to keep striving. Jessica began writing poems, short stories and even wrote a play/musical for a high school drama class, which was chosen by her teacher to be performed at an after-school show. She participated in school events and competitions that included her performing and having the opportunity to show off her talent. Shortly after high school graduation, Jessica moved to Augusta, Ga. She was chosen as one of the top ten out of hundreds of contestants in the Augusta area to have first grabs at a chance in the Augusta Idols competition where the winner would receive a spot to compete in American Idol. Jessica continues to write, sing and record, in hopes of one day pursuing her dream. She's worked with various local artists in the Augusta area and is currently on a quest to continue to be heard,and expand her music as she continues to grow as an artist, songwriter and young woman.
