Hegarty is a One Man Rock Band hailing from Mildura in Northern Victoria. M.J. Hegartys' music is played with 'Feet' on the kick, hi-hat and snare, 'Hands' on the strings and 'Voc Box' on the harp and microphone. This unique brand of music performance not only makes M.J. stand out from the rest but also gets an audience rocking. In 2008 M.J. Hegarty Started performing as a one man rock band, which quickly lead to constant shows at local venues due to his individual style and ability to rock an audience. Since that time M.J. Hegarty has gone on to rock the hell out of audiences from Adelaide, Melbourne and Bendigo, and play support for The Devilrock Four, Sarah Blasko, Rumourtism, The Benson Campain, Jess McAvoy and guitar virtuoso Erica Graf just to name a few. In 2009 M.J. entered The Soundtrap Studios with support of local sound tech Glen Nicol and music guru Chris Rodgers to lay down a great sounding Ep with a live feel. M.J. Hegartys' first Ep ‘’Ride The Pony’’ is the outcome of these recording sessions. M.J.
