"I listen to a lot of music... She can sing!"
George Stroumboulopoulos. THE HOUR -CBC
MOERAES FATE (moe-rays fate) OPENING FOR STYX AND GLASS TIGER AT NIAGARA FALLS ON NEW YEARS EVE. Come to the show beside the falls or watch it on Global.
CANADA'S 17 YR OLD FEMALE POWERHOUSE TRIO
pronounced (Moe-rays Fate)
Although frequently compared to legendary bands such as Rush, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Pearl Jam, there's nothing quite like the "no-holds-barred...kickass progressive aggressive rock" of Moeraes Fate.
On the strings, the fingers of skilled guitarist Ali Stead gives birth to chugging brutal hard riffs and yet at the same time pulls from her instrument some of the the most beautiful and delicate melodies ever heard in hard rock.
Heavy hitting Kayla Faye brings you back to earth with a crash of her cymbals. Her life's lessons learned sound out strength with every hit of her sticks. Trained by the best, she brings a heart beat to their sound.
Perhaps the band's best kept secret is it's most deadly. The dark whiskey voice of Katee Lee possesses you with her "powerhouse bass and vocals". Trained by jacksoul's Haydain Neale in vocals and songwriting, there's no one else that sounds even close to her in music today ("and...this girl can sing" raves George Stroumboulopoulos). She slays with cadence as she slips easily through big chorus' and leaves fans screaming for more.
All of this from 3 young women under 18 years of age? Progressive, aggressive, young and inspired. Moeraes Fate.

"Probably thee best girl band in Canada right now!"
'As far as I'm concerned their age and gender doesn't factor into the overall equation. They can play, sing, and write as good if not better than most acts in their musical genre. These guys(?) rock!"
Greg Godovitz. CFRB ROCK RADIO, founder of Goddo
For those of you who have not heard them live they are a rare gem who can bring the studio sound to the stage!!! I sat in the Russel Hotel many years ago and listened to a upcoming band called RUSH! This trio DAME reminded me of that show where a young drummer stole the show and with great guitar and vocals and bass leads that rarely missed these girls are about to explode onto the scene with a fresh and new rock sound So it was said so it will be !!

"This band can seriously lay down a groove and kick out some serious sound with ease. IF there is a young band out there today that can thrust women into the spotlight in the rock scene it will be Dame ( Now Moeraes Fate)!"
Bob Donovan, www.indieintune.com
"Dame (Now Moeraes Fate)- three teenage girls all under the age of 18 performing with a skill that many rock musicians twice their age cannot equal opened the show. Quickly one learns upon seeing this power trio to look past the gimmick of their collective age (48) and find similarities with the very popular and well-established acts they open for. At times one can detect similarities to acts like Four Non-Blondes and Pearl Jam. The band itself draws considerably from legends Pink Floyd."
Jason_Daniel_Baker, CHARTattack forums
"a no-holds-barred ..kickass progressive aggressive rock band, three girls from Brampton, Ontario who play songs with big choruses, hard-hitting guitar riffs and powerhouse bass and vocals."

Dame - Intervention Review I first came across Dame about six months ago on their MySpace account. From the first moment I heard their material, I was intrigued by the maturity coming from these three young Canadian women. I messaged them and got a quick reply. I was given "Intervention" by their management team.....and WOW! I immediatly put the entire CD in our "hot rotation" on Imagefm.ca. The response has been overwhelming, with listeners regularly requesting Intervention and other tracks from the EP. I do not like to focus on ones' age (especially bands) but I have to say that in my 29 years as a broadcaster/programmer, I have never heard teenage musicians EVER come out with material like Intervention. I would highly recommend Dame's Intervention EP to any music programmer in the Canadian radio industry.
I rate the Dame-Intervention EP "10 stars across the board!"
