Classically trained in operatic music, Kebra brings a unique style to the urban gospel genre. A songstress as well as pianist, Kebra has used her creative writing skills as well as vocal talents on all of the songs that appear on her CD, "Kingdom Understanding!"
While attending Claflin University in South Carolina, Kebra majored in vocal education. As a part of the Concert Choir at Claflin University, Kebra was blessed to be lead in many performances both in the United States and Europe. A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc, Gamma Chi Chapter; she has performed for many of the Sorority’s events throughout the United States. The South Carolina native has also performed at jazz clubs in the New Orleans area while a graduate student at the University of New Orleans.
Kebra found passion in singing for the Lord as her spiritual growth took wings under the teaching of Bishop James A. Ross. Kebra has managed to make music her career by singing praises for the advancement of God's Kingdom. This singer and song writer is very passionate about her music and is ready to spread the gospel to the world.
Her troubles have changed her, and she is now ready to share with the world that God will make away and give you the greatest testimony. It has been through Kebra’s steadfast relationship with God: through the trials, troubles, and victories of life that she has gained “Kingdom Understanding.”
