From an early age Ugly knew music, rap and hip-hop would be a definite career choice. Starting his rap career at age 14, began his ultimate journey and vision of success – a hip-hop and rap icon. Being one of two brothers and nine sisters, Ugly is no stranger to family drama and ups and downs, which is all a part of his music. Using music and rapping as an outlet, Ugly has been able to express himself in ways he never thought imaginable without judgment, fear or objection.
Taking pride in his own Louisiana style and rhymes, Ugly’s unique sound and Louisiana flare shines vibrantly shines through his lyrics and deliverance, which are original. Ugly is known for keeping it real on tracks and remaining original without taping into mainstream hip-hop and culture.
Ugly is currently signed with Grind Squad Entertainment, a St. Louis music production company. Ugly was introduced to Grind Squad through former Grind Squad artist, Dunn Deel, and later signed as an official member in 2010. As an independent artist and member of Grind Squad, Ugly has created numerous mix tapes over last six years. Writing at least three songs, every time he enters the studio, Ugly is more than dedicated to becoming a fearless rapper in the rap game. Ugly has also performed in St. Louis, Missouri; Memphis, Tennessee; and Texas.
With high expectations, Ugly plans to not only gain respect and success in the hip-hop industry but in corporate America. Ugly plans to become an entrepreneur, as well as become CEO of his own label, all while giving back to his family and his childhood community of Alexandria, Louisiana.
