Ms. Elizabeth
Hailing from the rough streets of South east London, ms. Elizabeth is like a rose that grew through concrete. Surrounded by drugs, violence and poverty, Ms. Elizabeth knew that she had to find a way to break out of the vicious cycle that she constantly saw taking hold of friends and family. Fortunately for her, she was blessed with the voice of an angel, of which she discovered at the tender age of 6, the same age at which she wrote her first song. At the age of 7, she attended her uncles wedding, where he and his new wife had their first dance to the song 'Tonight, I Celebrate My Love' by Peabo Bryson and Roberta Flack. Strangely to Ms. Elizabeth, the overwhelming concept of the song, combined with all the love that was in the air, brought tears to her eyes as she felt the power that music had and that was the movement that she fell in love with music and knew from that moment that it would always have the number one spot in her heart. With a father who was constantly playing records around the house, she was exposed to music from the likes of Whitney Houston, Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gary, Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Patti Labelle, Lionel Richie, Earth, Wind and Fire, Kool and the Gang, Shalamar, Bob Marley, Sade, Anita Baker, Minnie Ripperton and even artists like Kenny Rogers, Elton John, Abba, George Michael, Dolly Parton and from her as a result of her Nigerian background was also exposed to the likes of Sony Ade and Fela Kuti. The list is endless, but seeing those artists bringing the stages to life and inspiring other with such passion was something that impacted on Ms. Elizabeth and she realized that her life would not be complete unless she too could express that passion and have an impact on others in such a way.

A divorce in the family shattered her world and was just the beginning on many trials and tribulations that were to come . She spent some time with foster parents in Brighton, which brought on a whole world of experiences and emotions. Being the only black person in an all white school, she was naturally the target of racism and discrimination and was somewhat isolated. Seeing the financial retraints and struggles of those nearest and to her, Ms. Elizabeth promised herself that she would never be bound by such circumstances and made it her mission to use her gift to be a blessing to others, she started singing in the church choir and went on to lead praise and worship.

Ms. Elizabeth worked with various producers in the U.K, but frustrated from the lack of ability to capture her sound and lack of dedication and progress from the people that she way working with , one day ms. She learned a lot, form label meetings, recording sessions and industry events. This gave her more inspiration and she began to work and various producers and networking viciously. She lived in Queens, The home of superstars like 50 cent and LL Cool J, and learned what it really meant to 'be on your grind'. Stepping outside everyday and seeing the constant hustle; people selling CD's out of the back of their trunk, in order to put food on the table, further inspired Ms. Elizabeth. Upon encountering, the harsh realities of the industry, Ms. Elizabeth experienced discouragement and disappointment and almost gave up, but the day that she met one of her greatest inspirations, Mary J. Bilge, changed her life and she knew from that brief encounter that she could never turn back and had to keep the fire burning.
