Ms. Hip Hop was born on October 31st 1985, in Alexandria, LA; (The world would never be the same). Growing up in the harsh realities of the world, Ms. Hip hop found refuge in listening to Rap/Hip Hop music. With music influences such as 2pac, BIG, Naz and Jay-Z; spitting rhymes became a divine intervention. Writing poetry, quoting bars and freestyle battling became more than just an after school event.
With ambitions of becoming a world renowned rapper and the weight of life’s issues; Ms. Hip Hop headed toward Dallas, TX. As much as writing lyrics became a hobby, the idea of becoming an artist seemed a bit vague. It wasn’t until August of 2006 when Ms. Hip Hop met Vincent Harris (better known as Vishus) and stepped into his closet with a microphone dangling from the ceiling; that this rap thing could not only become habit forming; but a reality. Entering the studio and hooking up with Producer/Beat Extraordinaire; (Mz. King)…Ms. Hip Hop knew it was more than just a show.
Studying the new order of lyrical advisors like Nas, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Andre 3000, TI and Ludacris; Ms. Hip Hop felt that there was a need for a lyrical FemC. She believed the rap game deserved a female rapper that would be mentioned with the GREATEST!!! Today Ms. Hip Hop awaits her name to be called with the martyr’s of the Great Hip Hop Timeline. It’s only a matter of time before this FemC becomes a household name. Animated with Originality, Societies Struggles, Lyrical Overloads, and Polished Swag; Ms. Hip Hop is ready to step into the limelight and officially save FEMALE RAP. Here I am on a journey to become lyrically proclaimed; (((I AM MS. HIP HOP!!!!!)))........AMAN.
