Ms.Stress is a female hip hop artists from Gary and East Chicago, Indiana. Her early rap days began from starting a group with childhood friends named Be’Be’ Kids in only third grade. This was how she began learning the technique of songwriting. With being exposed to popular artists like Moni Love, Mc Lyte, Fat Boys, and other hip hop pioneer’s, Ms.Stress was well on her way to learning the art of being a “Lyrical Goddess”.   After moving to from Gary to East Chicago’s rough Harborside area, Shea’Roddy was only introduced to more violence, gangs, and abuse in here teen years. At the tender age of thirteen, she had the opportunity to showcase her skills on “Live or Die in G.I”, a street documentary which displayed the incredible talent buzzing throughout northwest Indiana at the time. A forty second freestyle proved that the then “Malice” was a MC on the come up. High School gave Stress the chance to showcase her lyrical ability in talent shows, plays, dance and drill teams, and even the choir. Through lots of studying and learning the craft of such icons like Tupac, Biggie, Mc Lyte, Jay-Z, Missy, and so many other incredible musicians, it was only a matter of time before songwriting became natural.     Over the years, Ms.Stress has managed to network and make her way to stages all across the country.  Now with the title comedian and mentor added, Ms.Stress proves she is more than just another “rapper. She has been featured in popular magazines such as Ozone, H.Y.P.E, Scoop, Midwest Leek, Nuvo and more. Her first solo album titled “Blowing Smoke” set the tone for what was to come from Ms.Stress through out her career. With a stage presence full of energy and sixteen’s that melt the hottest competition, how can this “lyrical goddess” be denied? The blend of beat riding, melodic melodies, and tongue twisting ability, put Ms.Stress in a class of her own. With the long awaited and highly anticipated album entitles “The Shea’Roddy Chronicles” coming out this fall, it’s only right to prepare rose petals for Queen Ms. Stress. Ms.Stress has also opened up for Lil Webbie, Lil Boosie, Do or Die, Twista, Shawnna and other established hip hop artists.
