Was a bit of a gear head in the late 80s and 90s, my favorite being a Roland U20 and Yamaha TX-81Z, both of which I programmed the heck out of. Used Opcode Vision on a Mac Classic with that and a Mackie 1202 mixer. Upgraded later to a E-Mu Morpheus (which I was never happy with since it had polyphony issues) then up to a mighty Kurzweil 2500, which I loved, but had to sell at a loss after finding out I was going to have my first child. Flash-forward 15 years and I'm now using Logic Express...

I've done some home and pro studio work, and played covers in Chicago bars for a couple years to help pay the rent. Now it's all just for fun.
