2003 – THE FORMATION The Mystical End was formed in August 2003. The sketch of the band began when guitarist Carlos Pranches and drummer Rogério Prado came out of their former band, Moonblind and were forming a new band. 2003 – THE FORMATION The Mystical End was formed in August 2003. The sketch of the band began when guitarist Carlos Pranches and drummer Rogério Prado came out of their former band, Moonblind and were forming a new band. Invited to be part of the project the guitarist Carlos Henrique, who also had left his band, Travil, brings the singer Rodrigo Cafundó (also a former member of Travil). Then what was a sketch begins to take shape when these four musicians joined their forces and begin the process of composition. But a Bass player was required and after a few contacts and information, Thariel Manteiga is called to take the bass. 2003 / 2004 – THE FIRST DEMO-CD, THE FIRST LOSS AND NEW MEMBER After many rehearsals and some strong compositions, the Mystical End enters in studio to record their first Demo-CD, three months after the formation of the band. Officially launched on 11 / 30 / 2003 in the festival "Rock Star", the CD with three tracks was entitled "Abyss Of Madness" and received great reviews in magazines and websites, which emphasized the power of music and professionalism of the band to record and launch a demo three months after its formation. Despite the initial success achieved, in February 2004 the bassist Thariel Manteiga leaves the Mystical End, because of musical differences. To take the spot left by Thariel, the band calls Eduardo Meira (also an ex-Travil). 2004/2005 – IMPORTANT SHOWS, NEW RECORDINGS AND REWARDS In 2004 the band continues to do several shows in the Underground circuit and in September of that year the Mystical End is invited again to take part of the festival "Rock Star", due to the success of your presentation in the first edition in 2003. The second edition of the festival offered a better structure and the organizers have brought the band Shaaman as a headliner and Mystical End was one of the bands opening. Continuing with its series of concerts, in October the Mystical End is invited to participate in the collection "Valhalla Demo Section", but unfortunately can not accept the invitation, because the band was concentrated in the production of a new CD. In early 2005 the band enters in studio again for recording the successor to the "Abyss Of Madness" and the year began with a great news for Mystical End: The web site Heavy Metal Brazil held a vote for visitors in the forum "Best of the Year – 2004”. In this vote the Demo-CD "Abyss Of Madness" was considered the "BEST NATIONAL DEMO-CD OF 2004." The news was much celebrated by the band and the atmosphere could not be better. With many shows to come and a new CD being produced the year of 2005 had everything to be a great year, but the best was still to come. 2006 / 2007 - NEW DEMO-CD, NEW REWARDS AND VIDEO CLIP In early 2006 the Mystical End launches its second Demo-CD, the conceptual "Game Of Chaos", containing six tracks. With this new demo the band gets even more acceptance from the Media and from the head bangers in the shows. The reviews of "Game Of Chaos" has been highly positive, including the magazine Roadie Crew - Issue 87 April / 2006 (cover: Blind Guardian). In May 2006 the CD figured with highest evaluation in the "Top Five Of Best Albums”, according to the site Heavy Metal Brazil. In September another great review in the magazine Rock Hard Valhalla - Issue 43 (Cover: Iron Maiden). In 2007 the band launches its first video clip for the song "The Falling Sun", from the album "Game Of Chaos." The video is available via You Tube and Official My Space. Performing great concerts in 2007, the Mystical End prepares to enter with full power in 2008, but this would be a year to be forgotten. 2008 - A YEAR TO BE FORGOTTEN In early 2008 the band received very good news: It was elected "Revelation Band 2007", according to the vote held on website of radio Rock Freeday (www.rockfreeday.com.br). After this great news, the year 2008 had everything to be excellent. But in February the band unfortunately suffers a great loss of their loved ones. Shocked, the band performs several concerts scheduled to follow with the professionalism and withdraws from the scene, leading a sad and gloomy 2008. 2009 - NEW LOSS, NEW MEMBER AND THE RETURN In January 2009 the band wanted to return with full power to the scene and new compositions were being prepared, but the Mystical End will suffer another loss: the singer Rodrigo Cafundó leaves the band, claiming not to be motivated enough to continue . The band then looks for a new voice of the ME. The search was fast and a week after Rodrigo’s departure; Mystical End announced the name of Tony Marco (ex-Massarico) as their new vocalist. Motivated and renewed, Mystical End already prepared its plan for 2009: New songs, new set list, to return in the circuit of shows and return to the studio later in the year to record another CD.
