Mystik won Dame Grease’s Free Beat contest. Multi-platinum producer Dame Grease drew attention from fans and media outlets when he gave away a free beat valued at $20,000 through a special contest on his MySpace page. Grease had to choose from 10,000 submissions, but he said, "it was something about her voice, her delivery, that led me to choosing her." Mystik's music has been heard worldwide on various different radio stations across the NET. She released her cd “Unknown Celebrity” winter of 2006. In the summer of 2007 she released “Unexpected”. She has been interviewed on both radio and internet sites. Mystik has opened for Slim Thug in Houston; was in the pilot for the reality show “The White Rapper Show” for VH-1. Armed with the audacity of a gangster, the flow of a veteran and the style to make even the most skeptical take a second look, she is definitely turning heads for all the right reasons.
