About Mys'tique of SK
Rap artist Mys’tique was born and raised in the inner city of Baltimore, MD. She always had a love for writing poetry since middle school. It wasn’t until her eleventh grade year in high school; she was influenced in by others to put her poems to instrumental beats. In 2006 she was discovered by Syndicate Entertainment as a solo artist.
In 2001 Mys’tique began to perform at different venues throughout Baltimore. In late 2009 the label decided to launch a project with the entire line up of female artist on the label. They have come to be known as SKC, the first girl trio group since the 90’s. The group consisted of Mys’tique, Death Angel, and Vikki Styles. With each girl’s unique style being merged together a hit album was produced. In February of 2011, the SKC album “Tripple Threat” was released and performed at various locations on the eastcoast. While touring with the group Mys’tique continued to record and tour as a solo artist.
With her great ability to create a since of individuality, she has definitely left her mark at all of the venues in which she has performed. She has been considered the female version of “T.I”. She has also been compared to “Left Eye” of TLC and the girls of “Crime Mob”. She is always able to capture her audiences no matter what age group they belong to by creating songs for people of all ages. Her love for what she does can clearly be felt by her stunning performances and remarkable stage presence. This has made Mys’tique well loved by many fans and other artist alike.
